Ava August
At 14, Ava August performed before an SOLD packed crowd of 3000 people who gathered at Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles before an Los Angeles Kings professional hockey game. Ava August was recruited and booked to perform by the Los Angeles Dodgers and L.A. Galaxy Professional baseball and soccer teams, according to reports, but the epidemic of COVID-19 resulted in cancellations of these reservations. At the age of 15, Ava August also became the youngest person to perform, and be on American Idol season 19. Ava earned the gold during the Audition Round. Then, the Genre, Duets, Showstoppers, Celebrity/Solo and Top 16 rounds were held. Ava was voted into the TOP 10 by the American populace. Ava August sang two originals on American Idol - Neighbor Boy and Ghost of You. Ava August performed an amazing duet with internationally renowned star Josh Groban. Ava was the first to release her critically acclaimed song Daybreak at age fifteen. Daybreak was followed by her first animated music video. On 11/01/20, Daybreak was broadcast by KX 93.5 FM and The Tropical Surf Hour. Daybreak also aired on the 29th of November at 88.5 FM LA/OC. It was broadcast to an audience of eleven million Southern California listeners.
